EOPS APPLICANT INFORMATION
EOPS is a state-supported project that provides a comprehensive program of services for low-income and academically disadvantaged students.
APPLICANTS MUST MEET ALL CRITERIA
· Be enrolled in at least 12 units.
o Waiting list classes are not counted.
o Must have at least 9 units at FCC.
o DSPS students can have a minimum of 6 FCC units with a letter from your DSPS Counselor.
· Be eligible for a BOG Fee Waiver A or B. (BOG C waivers are not eligible.) Eligibility determined by the Financial Aid Office.
· Meet the Educational Disadvantaged Eligibility
o This is determined by English and or Math Assessment Tests
o Eligibility must be below degree level English 1A or below degree level Math 103
· Additional Criteria for Continuing College Students:
o Not have completed more than 30 college units
o Must have a cumulative college GPA of 2.0 or higher.
You will be notified of your eligibility via your FCC e-mail. Morning applicants check after 1:00 pm, afternoon applicants check after 9:00 am the next day.
Eligible students must call our office, 442-8231 to make an appointment to attend one of the following EOPS Orientation sessions on Selection is on a first-come, first-served basis.
