I am taking RSVP's for the next CenCal Meeting at National Hispanic University (NHU) in San Jose on Friday May 20th, 2011 in Rooms 309-311 at the University.

The following will be the time frame & what you should know:   
10 am - For Committee Members - Executive Board will meet at 930 am.
1030 am - CenCal Meeting ROOM 309-311, meeting should be over no later than 1 pm.
Lunch will not be covered (however read below for lunch plans)
Parking is relaxed.

Patricia Ahumada, has suggested a great restaurant not too far from NHU to reunite for lunch,  I would really like everyone to attend afterwards to just chit chat and get acquainted, get psyched and ready for the incoming board and committee chairs.  Please RSVP if you can attend this portion afterwards.  "Cielito Lindo Mexican Restaurant", I will check on a menu for everyone if needed.

Please make an attempt to make it to our final meeting with this current board, as we transition towards our 2011/2012 at our next meeting in August.
Topics that will be discussed stem from TRiO Leadership Day (report on event), Summer Jam 2011 (event in planning), WESTOP Conference Las Vegas Report, legislation updates, and nominations for new board/committees.

If you can start nominating towards our new board and chairs, as the deadline for that is coming up.  Please see Arnold Melgar's email earlier this week.

In the next two weeks be looking out for a revised BOARD/COMMITTEE CHAIRS jobs/ duties  & a TRIO LEADERSHIP DAY 2011 EVALUATION for those whom attended the event.
