Good Afternoon Everyone,

As many of you know, our bylaws are fairly outdated and in need of some upgrading. (First and foremost the fact that they should be renamed our chapter “guidelines” rather than bylaws.) Cesar and I have worked diligently to go through them line by line and highlight any changes we think are necessary. I will be discussing them tomorrow at the meeting so I have attached a copy of the proposed changes for you all to familiarize yourself with in the meantime. Please feel free to email or call me with any other ideas and/or concerns you may have so that we may discuss them at the meeting tomorrow. Since the chapter will need ample time (at least 14 working days) to review these proposed changes before we can vote on them, we will have the official vote at the following chapter meeting in Las Vegas during the WESTOP Annual Conference.
