Thank you Wendy and Ginna. I do it because I enjoy working with students and their parental units, and because approximately 20 years ago my parents could have sat in those very same seats when they were looking for ways to put my siblings and me through college.
As corny as it might sound, life works in mysterious ways. Last night on my way home from the workshop, I stopped at Denny’s to get two of their magically delicious Hot Caramel Brownies a la Mode and as I was getting ready to pay for them, their systems were down and since I was paying cash, the manager only charged me for one of them. SCORE!!!

Relationships and collaboration play such a big part in TRIO and I wanted to take the time to personally thank one of our own, Mr. Ricardo Marmolejo, for his support in conducting a Spanish-Speaking FAFSA workshop at one of my assigned schools yesterday evening (Tulare Western HS).
Feedback is that HE BROUGHT HIS A-GAME and parents loved him! Thank you on behalf of Fresno State ETS and it makes me proud to serve alongside you in TRIO. Great job and God's Blessings.
