Attention all high school seniors. Applications for the Magic Johnson Taylor Michaels Scholarship are now available online at http://www.taylorsscholars.com/?page=2011Application

Unlike most scholarship organizations, that simply cut checks, Magic Johnson scholars join a unique and supportive family of scholars, alumni and employees of Magic Johnson Enterprise and Foundation who share equally in ensuring that every scholar has the support needed to complete their undergraduate education and to pursue the career of his or her choice. Named after Taylor Michaels http://www.magicjohnson.com/index.php?/foundation/programs/taylormichaels who worked as Magic's executive assistant while ensuring that all children she came into contact with, especially those lacking support and encouragement, to pursue their education, the program is ideal for students from underrepresented communities who have overcome serious life obstacles and are aware of the importance of education and improving underserved communities.
