Campaign Organizer 



The West Coast Office of the American Association of University Professors, which works with and services the Council of University of California Faculty Associations, is seeking an experienced organizer who can work with faculty, students and staff at UC and coordinate with others in the California State University and the Community Colleges as part of a campaign to restore public higher education in California. 

The organizer will work at various campuses to strengthen and expand the number, size, and activism of Faculty Associations and AAUP members in CUCFA/AAUP as well as working with other groups in and outside higher education, prepare and distribute press releases and may assist in political work in Sacramento.  The position will be based in the AAUP’s West Coast Office in Berkeley, but will involve much travel and work throughout the state.  To learn more about the AAUP see, http://www.aaup.org/aaup .To learn more about the campaign see www.keepcaliforniaspromise.org . 



The salary range is $50 – $55,000, commensurate with experience, and there is a generous benefits package.
