Good afternoon CenCal,

First of all, thank you to all who responded to my e-mails.  The WESTOP Conference is only a couple of days away!  Therefore, if attending, please plan on buying an item for the Central Cal Chapter basket.

At the last chapter meeting in UC Merced we decided to put together a college themed basket with items from each of our institutions for the WESTOP Silent Auction Fundraiser.  Program staff attending WESTOP could turn in their items to me in Long Beach and I will arrange the basket.  If you are unable to locate me, please call me at (209) 968-2114.

We want to make sure we don’t buy too many of the same type of items so here is a list of what some of our programs will be contributing to the basket:

Fresno State Upward Bound & ELL Upward Bound—Fresno State cap and a polo shirt

College of the Sequoias—Hooded sweatshirt

Fresno State Talent Search—Travel mug and t-shirt

National Hispanic University—String bagpack and coffee mug

Modesto Junior College—Clipboard and blanket

CSU Bakersfield SSS—Drawstring backpack, highlighter, banner, and wallet keyring

Cal Poly SLO—Padfolio and a binder
