Dear TRIO Colleagues:
Today Education Secretary Arne Duncan testified before the House Budget Committee. During the hearing, several Members of Congress expressed serious concerns about the Administration's education budget. Two Members - Representatives Gwen Moore (D)(WI-2) and Bobby Scott (D)(VA-3) - questioned Secretary Duncan about TRIO funding, in particular. Please be sure to extend your thanks to Congresswoman Moore and Congressman Scott for their continued and fervent support of TRIO!
