INFORMATION/NEXT STEPS FOR ADVISING STUDENTS:

--> ADMITTED?

Admitted students should be sure and check their Fresno State portal and email for important updates.

Fresno State Email Policy: All applicants are required to obtain a free Fresno State email account in order to view their application status. To access the Student Portfolio students will need to establish a free Fresno State email account. Apply for a free email account at: http://my.csufresno.edu.. Click the link below the log-in box that says "get an account now" to obtain your free Fresno State email account, using your student ID number listed at the top of this letter.

Student Portfolio--Holds and To Do List: To view any items or documents that are missing from your file, select Student Portfolio click on Holds and To Do List. The To Do List will show any items that are needed to complete your file. It generally takes 4-6 weeks to process an application after all required documents are received. If we do not receive required documents and your file remains incomplete, you will be sent an email informing you that your application cannot be processed and will be withdrawn.

PREVIEW DAY - Students should put March 27, 2010 on their calendar to check out Fresno State at Preview Day. Information will be mailed and emailed to students in February.

ACCEPT/DECLINE - Students may accept their admission starting March 15, 2010. Information will be mailed and emailed to them in March.

--> WAITLISTED?

Students who see a "wait-listed" status on their portal have met admission requirements, but have not been offered admission due to space limitations. Students may be admitted off this list if space becomes available. If students are admitted, they should follow the directions above.
