I do not oppose this, that would be great so all programs are on the same page with this issue.
Please Take Note:
Talent Search Directors will have available 10am-11am for Roundtable discussion (for those interested)
during committee meetings prior to the CenCal Chapter Meeting.

Hello Gillermina,
It would be great if the TS directors could meet at 9:30 or 10am at Reedley, prior to the next Central Cal meeting to begin discussing this.

State Leaders,
Please see the attached documents. The first is a guide to creating a Talent Search Task Force and the second is a list of Talent Search Directors by State. We have a tremendous opportunity and responsibility to guide the changes within HEOA in regards to Talent Search during the negotiated rule making process. We can also utilize these changing times to build unity within our state organizations. It will be imperative that we have a direct and comprehensive message to take to the Department of Education.
COE staff will be reaching out to various state leaders to assist with this process in the next couple of weeks. I urge you to read the Task Force document to share with your board and Talent Search professionals. I believe this is a great opportunity to generate interest in our state organizations while accomplishing a national goal, making a real impact in how the “new” Talent Search will look.
Sincerely,
Heath Alexander
