What is MCCAP? What ever the libraries rules are is a good guideline. A waiver sounds like they are waiving responsibility. It seems that there is a form parents and students should sign accepting responsibility for what students do. Probably the same thing – just sounds like opposites.

When I spoke with our librarian the MCCAP high school students who take classes here at MC have to have a waiver signed by their parents because they are under age and they have access to all information college students do whatever that may be.

Thank you. Do you also have parents sign a waiver?

We tried this at Fresno College City a couple of summers ago for our summer Educational Talent Search Program. As long as the students are enrolled in the TRIO programs they can access the campus services. The library should issue them a library card, and if there is a computer lab (supervised) they can use, they need to sign the authorization form to use it and get a password. They read and sign a form describing internet restrictions. Also, the Honors program allows our students to utilize the tutors in the Honors program in learning resource center.

It's definitely busy. I have your curriculum. I forgot to bring it with me to Monterey to give to Aurelia. Can I drop it off sometime this week?
Hey, do you have your students use the campus library during their lunch time or during their free time? We are trying to set some guidelines for that such as coming up with a waiver that parents would sign and have them supervised. They dont have a lot of free time, but they a few minutes here and there.

Hi Monica,
How are you doing? I don't have any forms. I just wanted to say hello and see how your summer program is going?
