At the last meeting we discussed having us highlight certain students,
program stuff, awards, scholarships, internships, etc...  that you would
like to showcase on the web... Below is an example of us (UB in CSUF
highlighting our school year) so you get an idea,  If you can sit with your
program, give me a small paragraph/testimonial and include some pics or
photo of an event you had ,, I can make it so people who get on our site,
know some of the individual things our programs are doing was the idea that
came up at our last meeting in Monterey.  Also I updated the cencal board
08-09 and added some photos of new staff, and added some program links.  So
if programs can send me stuff as soon as you get a chance I can make time to
work and add the stuff.. Also if you have pics of Kona, all this stuff you

Heres an example of PROGRAM HIGHLIGHT
This year out of our 19 high school Seniors graduating, we have 7 attending
UC¹s including UCDavis, UC SantaCruz, & UC San Diego,etc and 8 at CSU¹s
which include Fresno State & Cal State LA.  Every single one will be off to
a UC, CSU, or a community college and are enrolled for the fall.  With
fundraisers throughout the school year, alongside our ELL Upward Bound
Program we were able to award 8 of our students with $250 each in
scholarship money, in memory of students who have passed away and have
scholarships in their name to carry the legacy of Upward Bound.  Every
Senior has agreed to stay in contact because of the services they were
granted throughout High School in Upward Bound and an overnight camping
excursion which prepared them for Senior Year.
