Good afternoon Cencal, 

With PDS and CenCal Meeting taking place in Stanford, Ca we are still open to anyone who would like to take on the FUNDRAISING CHAIR role for our chapter.  Please let me or Martha know if you would be interested, as it is crucial we find someone to have this position for a stand out year in our chapter!!! Thank you ahead of time.

Here is a minor description of what Fundraising Chair does:

Chapter Fundraiser Chair: 

Responsibilities are . . . 
• raise funds for student scholarships and other CHAPTER financial needs 
• work with WESTOP fundraiser to coordinate activities 
• submit annual report on fundraising activities

The fundraising chair at the moment oversees the marble game, sending out notices on upcoming meetings, SHARES CARD distribution, and bringing items to donate/raffle off, and silent auction at our annual PDS.

This year our board is adamant and committed to helping the Fundraising Chair out with as much as we can, and meeting the fundraising goal for our Chapter.  We would like to fill this position by Monday, October 10th, 2011 or at least by the Cencal meeting on Friday, October 14, 2011.
