Happy Monday CenCal Family,

This past Saturday, the Reading and Beyond UB program hosted their first
annual Community Health Fair at Central Community Church in their
efforts to celebrate National TRiO Day. The students and parents of the
program hosted the fair which included the Central California Mobile
Blood Bank, Head Start, Fresno Black Nurses Association, CPR
representatives, Quality Foster Care Agency, Kings View, Fresno County
Youth Mental Health Service, a local massage therapist, Dance
Empowerment, Weight loss consultation, a local doctor office. Hope I
didn't leave anybody out. Anyway, the event was a big success and the
Reading and Beyond UB program hopes to make this an annual event and
even bigger and better next year. In the meantime, give the staff from
"R & B," like that huh? a quick shout-out for a job well done!!!

Matilda and crew will hopefully have some pics available for you to view
on the CenCal website in a few.

Have a blessed rest of the week!
