U.S. Department of Education Update: Upward Bound APR Due Date Extended

The due date for submitting the 2007–08 annual performance report (APR)
has been extended to January 30, 2009 for all regular UB, UBMS, and VUB
grantees. There is no change to the APR due date of February 27, 2009
for the UB projects with December 1 start dates.

The online APR data collection website for the UB programs will be
available December 15. Section II and the general instructions currently
on TRIO’s website will be updated this week to incorporate minor
corrections made for UB and UBMS in response to grantees’ questions.
These revised documents will be posted to the website before
Thanksgiving at: http://www.ed.gov/programs/trioupbound/report.html#text

In the second week of December 2008, grantees may expect to receive, and
may view on the TRIO web pages, a letter from Geraldine Smith, Team
Leader for the College and University Preparation Team, providing
further information on submitting the APR.
